CrossFit classes every day · CrossFit Max, Pierrefonds
How many times a week should I do CrossFit when I'm starting?
Three times a week. Hold that for your first four to six weeks, then add a fourth day. For those first weeks, you have two jobs: show up, and move well.

Why three, not two
Twice a week is a start, but every class feels like your first one back. At three, your body settles in and each class builds on the last.
Pick your three on the live schedule.
Your first six weeks start this week
- Week 1: book your trial. 7 days for $7, to try the classes and meet the coaches.
- Weeks 1 to 6: three classes a week. Start with Foundations, then join CrossFit classes. Book them a week ahead.
- After six weeks: add a fourth day once three feels routine.
- Rest days are part of the program.
You're only a beginner once.
Make showing up automatic
Book your classes a week ahead and keep your bag in the car. When the plan's already made, you just go.

Move well before you move heavy
Going lighter and slower than the people beside you is exactly right at the start. The weight comes once the movement is solid.
Questions before your first class? Talk to a coach first.
Change one thing outside the gym
Add a protein at supper, or a salad a day. Small wins stack up.
Want help with food too? Talk to a coach first.
Keep going when motivation dips
It usually dips a few weeks in. The classes you booked carry you through, and so do the people you've met: learn a few names.
